Commissioned embroidery for a repurposed tailored jacket.

Commissioned embroidery for a repurposed tailored jacket. The elements on the jacket hold specific meaning to the owner of this jacket which I embroidered along with the element Latin names as you might see in a museum display case or science book. There’s a stegosaurus (based on the model at the Natural History Museum, London) honey fungus mushrooms, various kinds of bacteria, beaded paramecium, a shrew, ginkgo leaves, sweet pea and the chemical formula for Kunzite. A very enjoyable project and lovely to visit the @natural_history_museum which is a really wonderful and inspiring place.
